Back in the days before this forum was created, almost all my roleplay was done on MSN. I had grown annoyed with b.net, which is where I met alot of you, and I know some of you may have as well. In any case, I noticed a tendency for my roleplaying group to latch onto certain premises or ideas even if we were in the middle of another roleplay. Interest would die out in the former, simply because there wasn't enough time to do them all.
The purpose of this site, as it was originally made, was to create a roleplaying environment that would be open to all. All types of settings, genres, rather than just limiting the forum to one, would be welcome. And I think people are starting to realize that, because I've seen some pretty unique ideas unfolding.
Not everyone has the same roleplaying interests. Some people might prefer fantasy, while others are into science fiction. Some people might enjoy horror or thrillers, while others could be into straight up action or even drama. Some roleplays are serious, others are meant to be lighthearted and funny. Roleplay sites that I usually see usually restrict themselves to one type of setting. Here at GS, we like to get rid of that notion and have our members post as many creative ideas as they can!
