I would like to start by saying I'm sorry, but this is a closed RP provided that everyone who was in it before is still good for it. I already have the number of people I want (it was started on MSN) and adding more would only make it more tedious. Fear not! It is my hope that this RP thread will be the first of many. Not to mention, it will of course be readable by anyone so I hope you enjoy the story whether you're in the rp or not.
The pilot for this was nicknamed "The SWAT RP" so Katrina, David, Ian, and Sam I would really appreciate it if you four started this back up with me. Considering the gap of time between the last time it was run it is safe to say we'll be starting from the top. I'll post the character sheet soon, looking forward to getting this off the ground!

Alright here it is, your character sheet. Keep in mind these are only the basic things. If you wish to add something other than what is listed, feel free. What is listed below is the absolute necessity. Refer to the suggestions sub board if you want ideas.

The additional equipment category is fairly broad. Each team member will be given standard items such as a combat knife, flashlight, first aid kit, radio, and rapelling rope. Each person is allowed one additional item. I would suggest making that item in line with the team member's talent. For example: A tech specialist might carry a PDA. An explosives expert might have breeching charges. So on and so forth. Feel free to ask questions if you have any.

Full Name: Luc Summers Age: 25 Appearance: Caucasian male. Very athletic build. He has amber eyes and brown hair with a sling hair cut. He is 5'5 tall and weighs 120 lbs. He's was once the adopted son of a well known man in Milfort. Although his parents were strick with bringing him up, they were happy. It was at the age of 15 when Luc saw his parents die before his eyes... He too almost didn't make it out alive that day. He was bedridden in a hospital for 2 weeks and had multiple bruises around his chest and a gunshot wound in his left arm. Out for vengence, Luc decided to abandon his old live and work for the Milfort Police. Equipment: -Primary Weapon- H & K MP5A3 Equpped with Dot Sight and Laser sight. -Secondary Weapon- Modifed H & K USP Equipped with Laser Sight, handle grip modification, and slide modification. Additional Equipment:Combat knife, flashlight, first aid kit, rappelling rope, radio, PDA Talent: Luc is a very gifted in computers and electronics. He knows who to decrypt passwords, retrace Ip Addresses, find backdoors into computers to gain access, and even plant viruses and worm clusters to slow down any dangerous data that's found. Luc is also capable of taking down many types of electronic locks and small-based security systems. When it comes to firearms, Luc is skilled with his handgun, and decent with sub-machine gun fire arms. He also has quite good at hand-to-hand combat, knife and fists. Positive Trait: Serious, honorable Negative Trait: Socially awkward, arrogant when it comes to knowledge of his skills.

By popular demand, Im going to open this up to maybe one or two more people. Because of the nature of this RP I can't allow any more than 6 not including myself, and I already have 4 (remember, the rp idea was originally initiated on MSN) I'm really sorry if you don't get the chance to participate, but like I said we will have plenty of roleplay to go around so please don't feel discouraged. Now, there were a few specifications I forgot to add. Putting them up now:
1: Each player character must be a member of the Milfort SWAT unit.
2: Equipment must be realistic. You aren't going in with a rocket launcher. Stick with SWAT standard equipment in terms of the weapons. Slight modifications can be added to the sidearm like David did with his, but nothing major. The sidearm must be a 9mm with a 15 round clip. There -is- a reason for this.
3: Your character backgrounds are whatever you want them to be. Again, be realistic about it. ^.^ Since I'm sure this will be helpful, I'm going to add the premise. I didn't put it at first because it was a closed rp but since I am opening it to a couple more people I'm sure it will be of help.
There have been a series of assaults and murders in the growing city of Milfort over the last few months. Police have no leads, and the nature of the attacks is so violent that a detachment of the National Guard has been called in to assist. Authorities are very close to declaring Marshall Law. Things escalate when the offices of Manta Corporation suddenly go dark. The company owns a large plot of land in the middle of the town, which includes a warehouse, executive office building, and research labs. The last known contact was with an employee who called a relative, sounding very desperate and claiming some sort of riot. Communication cut after that.
Due to the fact that there may be hostages being kept, a Milfort SWAT team is going to be sent in. It is assumed this incident is in connection with the murders that have been happening over the past few months, so orders are to fire at the first signs of aggressive and violent behavior. It would be prudent to neutralize the hostiles without killing them, however lethal force is authorized if the operatives deem it necessary.
The town itself is a ring, within which is a lake. Manta Co. created its headquarters on an island in the middle of that lake. the only means of getting there other than air is by the bridge. There will be air units standing by, but the team will be going across via the bridge. After that, the barricades will be put back in place on the bridge until further notice is given by the team that the mission has been accomplished.

The snuffkit thing with the long list after it, thats for disarming bombs and stuff? Or creating them? Or both? I'm just not sure. Everything I see is fine, yup yup. We just need to wait for the rest now. As for the primary, my suggestion would be the PSG1 of the two only because the other fires slower 'cause of the bolt action and that might get the character into trouble. I say no more! Its up to you to decide

Appearance: Very humble in appearance. Doesn't go out of her way to make an impression on people via looks in casual formats, and certainly doesn't care how she looks when geared for work. Fallon has mid-length brunette hair hair, faintly highlighted by a faded blonde coloring. Any female with experience in dying their hair would know that her natural hair color is the blonde trying to show through, she obviously hates that color enough to dye it quickly and incorrectly enough to show faint mistakes.
Blue eyes accompany a cute face that rarely shows a smile. Her ears punched with five holes apiece yet nothing remains in them, a sign of a once more colorful Fallon in her earlier years. Fallon also stands at a full height of 5'8" and weighs in at 121lbs.
Equipment: -Primary Weapon- During stand off situations she is the company sniper lead. Her rifle can vary depending on mission parameters.
All other equipment carried includes standard issue radio headset, zap straps, and armor.
-Secondary Weapon- During insertion operations Fallon takes point as scout and normally runs with a standard operations Spaz 12 automatic shotgun.
Additional Equipment: Fallon is equipped with night vision and flash bangs, not to mention low grade demo charges for quick insertion of locked rooms.
Talent: Fallon's true talent is sniping thanks to her training from the Russian Military. She was involved in separate special operations unit and offered a placement into the KGB. However she declined the KGB for reasons on unknown and later found herself as a transfer over seas. Her extremely strict military training sees to it that her emotions never get the better of her during intense situations. Fallon is also very decisive and quick to take action, making her an excellent scout.
Positive Trait: Fallon listens well and rarely speaks, she usually makes sure her job is done by the book and never once does she put her own team in danger before herself. Despite her rather cold personality, she always protects the team's best interests.
Negative Trait: Fallon has a tendency to place herself at risk, not calling in for back up when needed right away and always feels she can't do her best, always having to improve upon anything she does as if it isn't good enough. When it comes to simply getting along with other teammates, she fails miserably at this and pushes any and all away from her personal life, wanting nothing more than to get the job done and go home.

Its up to you to decide Yes, the snuffkit is for all things demolition(Modifying, building, fusing and defusing, dismantling, and of course salvaging) though it's her 2nd calling as far as Team-business is concerned! They are... demolitions aren't neccessarily applicable as damaging weapons.. so much as tools.
E.I.~ An ounce of C4 isn't the same as a Frag grenade in what it's used to accomplish.
I hope that is what you meant by suggesting additional "2nd" weapons. =]
