Commonwealth of Anbithyia. Lush green and teeming with forests, Anbithyia is a vast collection of Duchy's, Barony's, Estates, Organizations, and extensive Guilds. Power is centralized among each of the smaller states, with an over ruler serving as the uniting force among them. The nobility is well rooted and established, with a strong sense of feudalism enforcing the bedrock of their power. Located along the southern parts of the Terrian continent, Anbithyia is a hub of commerce and trade between the various countries of Terria and other continents further south. With this strong trading network, Anbithyia has become home to many travelers and opportunists, with many adventurers seeking to explore the many unknowns in the vast forests that stretch across the nation, or to scale the various heights of the Zoerai Mountains which expand inward towards the center of the continent.
The ruler of Anbithyia is a being much shrouded in secrecy. How the current royal family came to power is discussed with the pitch of legends and myths. These mysterious figures are even rumored to not be of human origins. While such an individual would not even be tolerated in some nations further east, Anbithyia is home to many warriors, mages, and local heroes with supernatural abilities. Due to Anbithyia's peaceful nature, the military aspects are virtually non-existent, with the idea of a "professional army" being considered very barbaric and useless. The wilderness is also home to many dangers and threats, ranging from miniature runts to ground-shattering daemons. Anbithyia has generally been a peaceful country, with an emphasis on knowledge and unity rather than war and its various machinations. However, not once has Anbithyia gone to war, with no slight effort either. The ruling classes are particularly humorless about trade affairs, with many private armies and groups formed for protection of interests at both overseas and at home. In recent years, beginning with the disastrous Treaty of Alfhelm Alliance, Anbithyia has suffered many defeats and setbacks due to its reluctance to improve upon its archaic military concepts.
There are no restrictions on character types. Roleplayers may be of Anbithyian origins or a foreigner. Characters will start in the capital city of Medbina, and as factions and parties are formed, they may travel to other various cities and villages of Anbithyia. Characters are free to follow a central storyline or form their own.

Name: Nicolaus Quatuor (Nico) Age: 21 Birthplace: Feall, Amor Regni Appearance: Tan-skinned with shoulder length black hair, deep green eyes. He has a long, thin face with a crooked nose and a slash scar across his lips. Affiliation: Iustitiae Manus (The Hands of Justice) Background: Nicolaus was born in Amor Regni, a small coastal nation south of the equator. Nico grew up during a fierce revolution that rocked the country to it's foundations- the Imperium that had held control over the kingdom for three centuries was overthrown by the youngest child of the Empress. This heir, Jakob Milian, held the blade that pierced her heart. During the renaissance that followed, Nicolaus met Jakob personally, and Jakob took the young man under his wing, training him as a Battlemage and a loyal servant of the new Emperor. When the Emperor began to open his kingdom to the outside world, he established Iustitiae Manus under direct control of Nico, with the hope that they could preserve Amora's interests in other kingdoms. Nico was sent to Anbithyia with a small group of other Amorans to find and capture a certain, powerful Daemon.
Armor: Instead of the usual black plate armor donned by the Hands of Justice, Nico wears a long, purple duster-like jacket with chainmail woven between the inner and outer layers of the fabric, a black tunic, black pants, also with the chain weave. The only real heavy parts of his attire are his plate boots and Runed Obsidian gauntlets.
Weapon(s): Evelyn- A powerful polearm similar to a scythe, Evelyn is made of Whitesteel, a rare metal found near dormant volcanoes. The blade is not a soul collector, like certain scythes i can mention, but it is possessed by the spirit of a powerful Vampiress, who, at times, aids or counsels Nico.
Harmony- A Junoskye* forged from a black steel alloy, and charged with a powerful fire enchantment.
Skills/Abilities:
Hands of the Oath Breaker- Nico's Obsidian Gauntlets grant him the following abilities. Charming- Nico is already a fairly charming, coercive person. His Charm is amplified by the Gauntlets. Liar's Eyes- Thanks to the power of the Gauntlets, Nico can generally tell when someone is lying to him. Inspiration- Nico's ability to inspire his troops and followers in the worst of conditions is multiplied threefold. Intimidation- This is not a magical ability. The sight of an already-strong man wearing the large, Obsidian fists is merely intimidating.
Master Battlemage-
Immolation- Self Explanatory Ignite- Sets his chosen weapon ablaze. Fireball- Obviously, a fireball. Nico can control the size and intensity of the flame. Flamethrower- Self Explanatory. Fired from palms. Weather Spells- Though it consumes a massive amount of energy, Nico can change the weather, at least once a day- the temperature, the amount of cloud cover, and precipitation.
Cursed Soul- Nico's soul is badly burned from a horrible act he committed- the murder of a young, innocent vampiress.
Eyes of the Dead- Nico can see and communicate with the dead- ghosts, wraiths, revenants and the like. Consumption- Nico devours the souls of those he defeats, both to heal the wound on his soul and to charge up one of his two ultimate abilities. Revivification- Nico catches the escaping soul of a killed ally and returns it to their body. (works on PCs) Singularity(Ultimate)- An explosion of spiritual energy that disorients powerful enemies, (bosses, PCs, important NPCs) and shreds the souls of lesser enemies, effectively killing them. Avatar of Death(Ultimate)-Nico focuses the souls that he's consumed into sending up a beacon, summoning the essence of the Collector itself. Said Essence transforms him and his Scythe, Evelyn, into a somewhat weaker version of the celebrated soul gatherer.
Special Moves(Normal)- Raging Wind: Nico imbues Evelyn with the natural fury of wind and slices in a circle, sending the enemies around him flying. Hellfire: Nico sets Evelyn ablaze and throws it into the air, letting in rain gobs of liquid fire, similar to napalm. Hunger- Nico uses Evelyn as a manner of transferring the souls of his defeated enemies directly into himself.
Special Moves(Avatar of Death)- Friends in Low Places- The Collector summons the ancient bones of the long dead to fight alongside him. Soul Mastery- The Collector uses his affinity with souls to influence his enemies into fighting alongside him. (works only on npcs) Collection- Collects the souls of all the enemies around the Collector. (works only on lower level or unimportant NPCS) Adieu- The Collector bids adieu by setting the surrounding enemies aflame as he abandons Nico. (works on low to moderate level npcs, not on PCs, etc.)
Iustitiae Manus: Well renowned throughout the world for their ferocity and lack or morals, the "Hands of Justice", as they are known in commonspeak, are easily identified by their iconic symbol- a black heart, topped by a red crown. The Knights of this brotherhood wear black plate armor with red visors, meant to give the frightening look of a Demon Knight. Generally, because of their fierce methods and lack of respect towards the laws of other nations, they are generally not trusted by the governments and civilians of other nations.
*Junoskye- A primitive type of clockwork firearm, Junoskye are pistol-sized weapons that fire small bolts, almost like tiny broadhead arrows. They only hold three bolts at a time, so reloading is a constant problem.

Height: Roughly 6"1 Skill Set and Abilities: An accomplished swordsmen, Maedhros' sword arm is his left rather than his right, throwing opponents off guard as they have to deal with different and unusual tactics. Maedhros posses a sword called Galaxia which is an enchanted daemonic blade and extremely effective against underworld types. Galaxia - Battle Meditation Type: Aura. Effect: Increased effectiveness, stamina, morale, and battle prowess of nearby troops. Extremely fatal when used in conjunction with an army. Near-telepathic, it eliminates the use of runners and messengers across battlefields and commands are instantly carried out. - Galaxia Minor Type: Defensive. Effect: Increased defensive swordsmanship of the owner, deflects glancing and slashing blows with little effort. However, is practically useless against jabbing or stabbing techniques. - Galaxia Major Type: Offensive. Effect: Increased offensive swordsmanship, the counter part of Galaxia Minor. This ability forms an extremely small magical barrier along the blade of the sword, increasing damage and durability of the weapon. - Natural Magical Resistance (25%) Type: Aura Effect: Due to the extreme hatred of supernatural individuals and creatures, Cornealians have adopted a specialized race skill, allowing them to absorb a portion of magical spells hurled their way. His hair turns white, as a side-effect from the transformation, but that being said, his abilities and such go up quite drastically, the draw back is, he cannot sometimes control this power so easily, as it is like a magical "high". Controlling such a power has many draw backs. History: Shiden was born in the union of human and dragon. His father; who he never knew, gave up his powers to become full human, to be with his mother; who died giving birth to him. Though his father could take a human form, he decided to give up his powers, after he was known, that Shiden would be born. Though, he never had a chance to see his wife or son, as he was killed by a knight he trusted; who would train Shiden as his own, and then one day try to kill his son as well. Over the years he grew up, Shiden became very skilled with a sword, and able to tap into the potential of using rune magic. At the age of 10 he went through the ritual of rune embedding; which used his bloods to forged rune tattoos on his body. Shiden was able to adapt with three runes; which has been the most anyone has able to wield, and thus he has received the title of Rune Knight. Ever since he meet Ceroshan four years later though, he has come to learn and control his powers better. To make sure he had full control though, took an invention of Fafnir's; a brother of Ceroshan's, and used it to age himself quickly to his adult years. Although he is fully mature mentally and physically, Shiden still loves to fool around sometimes and explore the world.
