Pluck it !! (Get it? Musical thread? Pluck? *snickers*)
Tastes will differ, naturally, so please keep arms (and minds) wide open. Music is music, so drop a name or two, discuss genres, or just post lyrics to your favorites.
E.I.~ I've rediscovered my love for Eric Clapton recently. He makes me happy. =]

This song came on shuffle and I just felt like I haaad to share it. Its a very catchy tune that I always enjoy. It seems to shout out life is good, in a...non-shouty voice. >.> Anyway, here it is, San Tropez - Pink Floyd www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGOQjmVMAws

Ozzy's Sabbath > Dio's Sabbath.
Or..were you talking about a different Dio? >.>

I neither agree nor disagree, they both had their own flair for it. But Ronnie James has been rocking longer than dirt, so he'd get my first mention no matter what. I liked his solo work more than his Sabbath stuff, too. =o

I keep a wide range, but stay away from rap or country.
The Lord Weird Slough Feg Apocalyptica Bond The Rolling Stones Led Zeppelin Opeth I also keep a huge collection of video game and anime music; Yoko Kanno's name on anything pretty well means that it's gold in my book.

So, I've been drifting away from my classic rock music these days, after being introduced to some electronica. I've still got the old stuff but, really like these guys too.
Celldweller Junkie XL
Also, I'm looking forward to the new Disturbed album. I always enjoy their music. I have the title track already, its pretty decent.

Speaking of, I always did like Akira Yamaoka's work on Silent Hill. Its too bad he's not doing it anymore. One of the songs in the latest game was actually an Elvis remake. If you knew Elvis but never heard the song by him, you would never guess.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tTQy9-uqz0

Started experimenting with them in choreographical ways, too. XD

I don't have many comedy songs, however..!
I have one by Chris Rock, I wouldn't call it a song so much as a dialogue. But its still entertaining. Its called the ebonics language lesson.
And then there's another, which wasn't made as a comedy but the first time I heard it I laughed so hard that I put its genre down as comedy anyway in my library. The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. I'm not sure what exactly it was that I found so hilarious about it, but if I had to guess I would say the guy's voice.

I guess I'm the only person on this site that enjoys rap and hip-hop however I tend to ignore and condemn fake ass rappers like Lil'Wayne and shit. However I'm also somewhat of a rock person as well, enjoying Billy Talent (Surrender is my favorite song), 3 Doors Down, and my most favorite band of all, Breaking Benjamin. I even own the Dear Agony album which is probably the best CD I have. The title track especially.

Well hey! I'm not into much hip-hop but..I found one album a while back that I <3 <3 <3. The album is called Deadringer, and its by Rjd2. It isn't all hip-hop, but there is some and I love every track. From what I hear the artist does alot of the beats for hip-hop artists so if that sounds like you're thing, check it out!!
